Taylor Ann Hasselhoff-Fiore, the eldest daughter of David Hasselhoff and Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff, has filed legal documents to manage her late mother’s estate, as reported in court records obtained by PEOPLE on Thursday. Taylor, 34, is seeking to become the administrator of the estate after her mother, Pamela, tragically passed away on March 5 at the age of 62. The Los Angeles Medical Examiner ruled her death a suicide.
Pamela, who was married to David from 1989 to 2006, leaves behind two daughters: Taylor and her younger sister, Hayley, 32. In her legal filing, Taylor explains that her mother died without a will, and she estimates the estate’s value at $840,000.
On March 12, Taylor paid tribute to her mother on Instagram, sharing a heartfelt video montage from her childhood, originally posted on Mother’s Day 2024. “My best friend, my whole heart, my everything ♥️,” Taylor wrote in the caption. “I’d do anything in the world to hug you again, my forever angel,” she added, expressing her desire to make her mother proud and honor her memory. Taylor also promised to ensure her daughter, London, would “know all about how incredible you are.”
Taylor’s tribute was a poignant message of love and loss, expressing her resolve to be strong for her family. “Mama I love you so much, the pain is unbearable but I will be strong for you & hold onto your memory until we meet again,” she wrote.
After Pamela’s passing, Hayley posted a photo of their parents from 1996 on her Instagram Stories, captioned simply with a white heart emoji, “🤍 .”
Pamela’s agent, Sharon Kelly, remembered her as a “proud mama” and a “force of nature,” sharing her admiration for how Pamela always expressed her pride in her daughters’ growth and accomplishments.
In response to his ex-wife’s death, David Hasselhoff, 72, expressed his family’s grief in a statement shared with PEOPLE. He thanked fans for their support but requested privacy during this challenging time.
Representatives for Taylor and David did not immediately respond to requests for further comment.
