Marking the 30th anniversary of her holiday classic All I Want For Christmas Is You, Mariah Carey will make her BBC Radio 2 debut on Christmas Day at 7 pm, playing festive favorites and thanking fans for their support. Cher will feature on Desert Island Discs on BBC Radio 4 on December 15, sharing the soundtracks of her life.
Music icon Annie Lennox will appear on BBC Radio 2 on December 22, reflecting on her legendary career ahead of her 70th birthday. Other highlights include Hairy Biker Si King’s debut rock-filled show on December 23 and Zoe Ball’s farewell to the Breakfast Show with special Christmas Eve and Christmas Day broadcasts featuring crooners like Frank Sinatra and Louis Armstrong.
BBC Radio’s festive programming also includes Bill Nighy stepping in for Iggy Pop on BBC 6 Music, Romesh Ranganathan interviewing Outnumbered cast members, and Absolutely Fabulous stars discussing the sitcom’s legacy on BBC Radio 4.
