One and done.

Heather Locklear explained why Tom Cruise “didn’t quite cut it” during their first and only date in the 1980s.

The “Melrose Place” alum, 62, recalled meeting the “Top Gun” star, also 62, at an audition for a film as she spoke during a panel at 90s Con in Daytona Beach, Fla., on Saturday.

The duo met at an audition.

They went out dancing at Club Lingerie.

“I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, I’m terrible. He’s even worse!’” she joked, according to People, adding that neither of them got the parts.

Since Locker was “a little bit older” than Cruise (by only a few months), she viewed him as a “little baby boy.”

The “Dynasty” alum remembered the “Rain Man” star and Sean Penn once coming to her house, where they were “nice” and said, “Yes, ma’am.”

Locklear called the actor “really cute” and “very nice.”

“We went out dancing to Club Lingerie at that time,” she continued of their date, noting that Cruise did his famous move from “Risky Business” on the dance floor.

“He was really cute,” Locklear gushed. “He was very nice to me.”

However, the “Hot in Cleveland” alum poked fun at the “Jerry Maguire” star’s style, which she felt “didn’t quite cut it” compared to her “rock ‘n’ roll girl” image.
